Rotary Club of Changi Singapore
Club History

The Rotary Club of Changi Singapore was formed in March 1988 and was formally chartered on 30th June that same year with 53 charter members.

The Charter President was Tan Leong Teck who passed away on 1st January 2009.

Our first Interact Club was from Pei Cai School and was chartered during our second year 1989-90

Numerous community projects have been undertaken by the Rotary Club of Changi Singapore over the years, including the free immunization against Hepititis B campaign. During the year 1999-2000 a new mini bus was purchased for the Jamiyah Children’s Home.

Various scholarship programmes have been organised over the years, in general under the CP Tan Leong Teck Bursary Fund.

In 2008 the first ever lady club member joined the club.
